No more cable routine

From Plugged In to Plug-Free

The small daily annoyances of wired CarPlay — and how JDG takes them off your hands.

The problem

Digging for the cable every time you get in the car.

Our fix

The adapter stays in the CarPlay USB port, and your phone connects over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi instead.

The problem

Forgetting to plug in, then driving without maps or music.

Our fix

After the first pairing it reconnects automatically every time you start the car — the phone can stay in your pocket.

The problem

A cord stretched across the console and a worn-out phone port.

Our fix

A compact dongle sits in the port instead, so the console stays clear and the phone's own port gets a rest.

The problem

Worrying that going wireless means losing your car's controls.

Our fix

The factory touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons, knobs and Siri keep working exactly as they did with a cable.

Who we are

About JDG

JDG makes one thing: adapters that turn a car's factory wired CarPlay into a wireless connection. Plenty of cars on the road already have CarPlay built in but still ask you to plug your phone in every single trip. Our adapters close that gap without touching the car's own system.

The range has two halves. Our wireless CarPlay adapters are for iPhone 6 and later on iOS 10 or newer. Our 2-in-1 adapters add wireless Android Auto for Android 11+ phones, for cars that already support wired Android Auto — handy when one car is shared by an iPhone driver and an Android driver.

Every model follows the same simple routine: plug it into the CarPlay USB port, pair over Bluetooth, and use CarPlay. From then on it links up by itself when you start the car, and your touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons, knobs and Siri work just as before.

Our purpose

Our Mission

Our mission at JDG is to take the cable out of the daily drive. The car screen and the phone already know how to talk to each other; we simply let them do it without a cord across the console.

That means keeping things honest and simple. Our adapters work with cars that already have factory wired CarPlay — we say so up front, so you know before you buy whether one fits your car.

We want the best part of an adapter to be that you stop noticing it. Plug it in once, pair once, and from then on your maps, music and calls are on the screen by the time you've buckled up.

Get in, start the car, CarPlay is on

Pair once and let the adapter reconnect by itself on every trip.

The difference

6 Reasons Buyers Choose JDG Wireless CarPlay Adapters

What makes the switch from wired to wireless worth it.

Wired CarPlay becomes wireless

A JDG adapter converts the factory wired CarPlay you already have into a wireless connection — no new head unit, no wiring work.

Set up in three steps

Plug it into the CarPlay USB port, pair over Bluetooth, and use CarPlay. No extra apps and no tools.

Reconnects on its own

After the first pairing, your phone links up automatically each time you start the car, even if it stays in your pocket or bag.

Your car's controls stay

The touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons, control knobs and Siri all keep working, so nothing about how you drive changes.

5.8 GHz Wi-Fi + Bluetooth

Several models pair 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth — up to Bluetooth 5.4 — for a steady link to the car screen.

Fits USB-A and USB-C

Whether your dashboard has a USB-A or USB-C port, the range has you covered with included adapters or dual connectors.

Why us

Why Choose Us

A focused range, explained plainly.

One focused category

We don't spread ourselves across dozens of gadgets. Wireless CarPlay and 2-in-1 adapters are the whole range, so every model is built around the same job.

Straight answers on compatibility

Our adapters need a car with factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto. We state it clearly so you can check your car before you order.

iPhone and Android options

Choose a CarPlay-only adapter for iPhone, or a 2-in-1 model that also handles wireless Android Auto on Android 11+ phones.

Finishes for every interior

Gray, ebony black, silver and glossy black — pick the look that sits best in your dashboard or console.

Built for the road

Selected models use a metal shell, a reinforced USB plug or a snug-fit design to keep the connection steady over bumpy roads.

Small enough to forget

Compact dongles plug straight into the port and stay there, so the console stays tidy and the setup stays out of sight.

Keep your hands on the wheel

Siri, steering-wheel buttons and the touchscreen stay exactly where you expect them.

In their words

What Buyers Often Appreciate

Common themes from drivers who made the switch.

It just connects

Drivers like that CarPlay is already on the screen when they start the car, without reaching for the phone.

Compact and out of sight

The small size comes up often — the adapter tucks into the port and the console looks cleaner without a cable.

Easy first setup

Buyers describe the plug-and-pair setup as quick, with no app to install and no settings to dig through.

Responsive on the screen

Many notice that maps, music controls and calls respond smoothly once the adapter is connected.

Same controls as before

Keeping the steering-wheel buttons, knobs and touchscreen working makes the switch feel natural.

Worth it for daily drives

For short daily trips especially, people value not having to plug in every single time they get in the car.

Good to know

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a JDG adapter add CarPlay to a car that doesn't have it? +

No. A JDG adapter converts an existing connection: your car must already support factory wired CarPlay (or wired Android Auto for the 2-in-1 models). Aftermarket stereos without wired CarPlay are not supported.

Which phones work with JDG wireless CarPlay adapters? +

The CarPlay adapters work with iPhone 6 and later running iOS 10 or newer. The 2-in-1 models also support wireless Android Auto on Android phones running Android 11 or later.

How do I set it up? +

Three steps. Plug the adapter into the USB port your car uses for wired CarPlay, pair it with your phone over Bluetooth, then confirm CarPlay on the phone and the car screen. That first pairing is the only manual step.

Do I have to pair it again every time I drive? +

No. After the first setup the adapter reconnects to your phone automatically when you start the car, as long as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stay switched on.

My car has a USB-C port — will it fit? +

Yes. The range covers both USB-A and USB-C ports: depending on the model, a USB-C adapter or dongle is included or the connector supports both types. Each product description lists what comes with it.

Do my steering-wheel buttons, touchscreen and Siri still work? +

Yes. The adapter passes CarPlay through your car's own system, so the factory touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons, control knobs and Siri voice control keep working the way they do with a cable.

Does wireless CarPlay use more phone battery? +

It can. Wireless CarPlay keeps Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and data active, so on long navigation trips a charging pad or cable charger helps keep the phone topped up.

Should I choose a CarPlay-only or a 2-in-1 adapter? +

If everyone who drives the car uses an iPhone, a CarPlay adapter is all you need. If the car is shared with Android users and supports wired Android Auto, a 2-in-1 model handles both wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

Ready to cut the cable?

Every JDG adapter is a quick plug-and-pair away.
